Why is the world dying in vain so easily? Why does it suffer endless agony without reprieve? Where is humanity's respite from this brutal cruelty? Our lives are more fragile than an hourglass holding the sands of time itself. Our fleeting dreams alone are all that keep us remaining alive on the inside.
What are we in the summary of existence? Where do we fit in the scheme of things? Our wistful hopes are what drives the wildfires that enables us with the will to live in the face of heart-aches. Our bonds are all that hold us in this world filled to the brim with fatal wounds.
Without companionship, how are we to stand the hardships that eventually awaits all mankind? Without compassion, how can our race hope to outlast the harsh reality of love and war, of truth and death? We must abide in life with the simple truths to ease the pangs of death. We must accept the much needed loves to avoid the gongs of war.
How can we as mortals avert the crisis of life? The only thing humans can do to survive is choose what is best for their world. If humanity's world is going to thrive first our people must choose an honest life and then boldly live it.
Can you abandon the crisis and embrace the life? The right choices rest within the soul entombed beneath the crisis of life. Pull it up by the roots and awaken it from the pointless slumber. Afterwards, we the people can finally maintain a clear conscience, and lead a full life free of future regret and worry.
Abandon crisis and embrace life!

No Salvation for the Tainted | Mortal Kombat
The journey to the Temple of Elements was perilous at the best of times – to say nothing of the gods who lived within it – but for a Cryomancer who was once a denizen of the vilest bowels of the Netherrealm, the cold weather and whistling wind of the Himalayas were mildly irritating at best. Narrowing his dark blue eyes, he spotted a grey circular stone door at the bottom of a snowy cliff and nearly sighed in relief. This time around, he had no Map to guide him except for the one he could recall from memory. Had it failed him today, the long journey would have been for naught.
The first time he was here, he was known as Sub-Z

Metus
One flat night, the wind stilled itself like a breath held in the worst kind of anticipation; the moment when you realize, too late, that everything has gone wrong with every carefully laid plan. Every alibi come to naught in the face of something far too dark to even be given shape: gloried in the feverish tongues of those men who spread their crazed scripture to those who pass beneath their perches just out of reach.
Fear.
The word dances across the lips of the multitudes, washing away serenity and sense, slathering a coat of ashen sludge across our hearts and burrowing into the mind like some virulent maggot, squirming for that last litt

Bleed My Sorrow
After 4 years, I finally caved. Steel slides into skin, I bleed my sorrow out. The anxiety, the pain, the constant tears. I couldn't handle it. I might not have been able to choose him,l but he was important to me. I may be a monster, but he was my light within the dark. He may hate me, but he will always be in my thoughts. He may have replaced me, but our memories I will always cherish. He may have banished me, but I will always watch over him from a distance. He may not know, but he will always have a piece of me. ~DarkBlueWaters~ December 17, 2019
